Olivia — Chapter 58
Overview
Jules discovers Will and Olivia together outside, her phone light catching them mid-conflict. Will instantly detaches and plays it off as helping Olivia after a fall. Jules, notably missing her crown, orders them inside to cut the cake. The moment postpones confrontation but heightens suspicion and tension.
Summary
Jules arrives, calling for Will and lighting the scene with her phone. The beam exposes Will holding Olivia; Will abruptly releases her and steps back, as if distancing himself from any impropriety.
Olivia freezes, unsure what Jules has seen or heard. She assesses that if Jules had heard everything, the outcome would have been explosive. Jules asks why they are outside and notes someone said Olivia fell. Olivia also notices Jules is missing her gold crown, sensing another change she cannot name.
Will smoothly explains he brought Olivia out for air after her fall. Jules acknowledges the gesture but ends the moment, instructing both to return inside because the cake is about to be cut, effectively deferring any immediate confrontation.
