As Donut casts, system messages announce that Warlord Princess Donut has committed a third Atrocity, received a new class, become The Oak Fell, and been named Champion of Nekhebit. Carl is then hit by overlapping deity effects: Meatus threatens a grotesque curse, while Eris causes one current god effect to become permanent. A spinner nearly makes Meatus's curse permanent, but instead locks in Carl's level-15 Pied Piper benefit from Harpocrates.

Time freezes, and Eris appears beside Carl, no longer controlled by the War Mages. She mocks and flirts with Carl, says Emberus has put Carl in an impossible position, and claims she could make Carl her champion if Carl kills Taranis, Emberus, and Hellik. Before leaving, Eris gives Carl major intelligence: the War Mages traded the Gate of the Feral Gods to Paca at the Midnight Market, Paca serves Krakaren Prime and carries the gate in her stomach, the gate should be given to the Skyfowl who built the antennae under Carl's castle, and Britney has picked up a possessed axe.

When time resumes, teleportation restrictions lift, but Donut is frozen and losing health. Outside, the dropped ball has broken apart, sending thousands of enemies and the feral god Meatus upward toward the Nest while Carl's allies fall deeper into Larracos toward their planned Bounce House recovery. The assault on the drained castle is also beginning below, while Harpocrates watches Meatus from the hole's edge.

Carl realizes Donut's spells are the Bijanbi spell and Astral Paw when an enormous glowing cat paw forms over Larracos. The paw gathers the floating enemies, including elves, gnolls, Reaver mercenaries, Meatus, and the fleshers covering him. As the trapped army screams and begins dissolving, Carl warns allies in Shanty Town to run, heals Donut, and tries to comfort her as she wakes confused, sick, and changed by her new class and spells.

Li Na creates a massive lattice of chains around her tower and the Nest, preparing a finisher for Donut. Donut realizes Astral Paw requires her direct action and, while Carl holds her, says she can feel the enemies beneath her paw. At Li Na's signal, Donut swipes downward again and again, causing the giant paw to slam the trapped soldiers and Meatus through the chain lattice. Li Na keeps replacing broken chains, and the repeated impacts slice the army apart until the screaming stops. Carl sets Donut down, goes to the parapet, and vomits.
