Chapter 6

Overview

Louis reveals that his celestial-box reward includes an Airship Portal and a stealth light bomber named Party Planner, giving the Princess Posse a powerful but risky new strategic asset for Faction Wars. The aircraft’s existence broadens the conflict’s stakes, forcing the group to think in terms of air power, defenses, vehicle limits, and enemy capabilities.

Before seeing the ship, Carl has a brief destabilizing moment as leftover tinsel makes him reflect on the blurred line between reality, memory simulation, dungeon fiction, and world-ending consequences. The chapter ends with the commanders moving toward urgent preparation while Carl plans a reunion.

Summary

Louis shows Carl, Donut, Elle, Florin, Britney, Bautista, Splash Zone, and Samantha the Airship Portal upgrade from his celestial box. The portal lets the guild designate up to three suitable saferooms as airports, hangar an airship in a dimensional space above them, and use the ship as another fast-travel option, though its exterior doorway can be damaged and airships will not be allowed on the tenth floor.

While the group waits for the elevator, Carl notices stray Christmas tinsel on the guildhall floor and realizes it likely came from outside the memory simulation. The object makes Carl reflect on how reality, simulation, and dungeon fiction have become dangerously blurred. Carl remembers Pater Coal, Lightning Lou, and the warning attached to the star-killing failsafe interface, and fear rises when the eye on Carl’s chest blinks.

The elevator teleports the group into the hangar of Louis’s airship, Party Planner. The sleek silver vehicle resembles a small bomber or train car more than a normal plane. Louis explains that Firas had suggested the name for the Twister, making the name a tribute, and says the ship runs on a soul crystal like the Twister.

Florin and the others inspect the aircraft’s capabilities. Louis explains that it has shields, stealth options, a bomb bay, possible weapon upgrades, and room for a small crew, but its defenses are limited. When Louis turns off its stealth examination block, the system identifies Party Planner as a tier-three Armor vehicle assigned to the Princess Posse and describes it as a fast, stealthy light bomber with high offensive potential and serious survival risks.

The discovery changes the group’s understanding of Faction Wars: aircraft and vehicle-class Armor are now part of the battlefield, and other factions may have similar or stronger assets. Donut notes the rules limiting starting Armor but allowing captured vehicles after combat begins, while Florin urges the team to reach the base, learn the rules, assess enemy hardware, and prepare defenses. Florin prepares to leave with Elle and Imani, and Carl says his next move is a reunion.
