After the initial F, subsequent arrangements reveal L, O, A, T, then C, A, T—first reading as FLOAT CAT, which they quickly correct to FLOAT CATCH. The group recognizes the pattern is intentional.

Teresa urges them to process all archived tracings, and Thomas agrees. Minho, however, insists that he and the Runners must head into the Maze immediately, arguing that with the Doors no longer closing, something might have changed and deeper exploration is critical. Newt backs Minho’s decision and volunteers to organize trusted Gladers to continue decoding with Teresa.
