Debbie approaches a group of parents outside the school to learn why a police car is there. She recognizes Tabitha from the poisoned book club meeting and pointedly asks whether Tabitha is still vomiting, drawing alarmed looks from the other women before Tabitha insists she is fine.

Debbie asks about the police presence. Tabitha, unable to resist gossip, says someone called the school to report a nanny cam in the girls’ locker room showers. Tabitha adds that there are no cameras covering the relevant areas, so the school may not have suspects, though Debbie privately believes her anonymous tip should have named someone.

Debbie waits through twenty minutes of speculation and nearly leaves. Then police officers emerge from the school with Coach Pike in handcuffs, causing the gathered mothers to photograph the arrest.

Coach Pike protests that the camera was not his and that he does not know how incriminating material got onto his phone. The parents immediately reject his denial, and Debbie deliberately worsens the situation by claiming she had seen Coach Pike staring at girls during soccer practice. Her comment prompts the other women to pile on with stories about him as the police drive him away.
