CHAPTER 2: ROHAN

Rohan confronts Savannah Grayson in the twins’ yacht cabin, challenging her ban on approaching Gigi. He dangles knowledge about Brady’s sponsor—Duchess Zella—who had promised Savannah the location of her father’s body if Savannah eliminated Rohan from the Grandest Game. Though Savannah won without betraying him, Rohan suggests the offer may still stand.

Leading her to the deck, Rohan signals their time is short before dawn and likely release. He reveals Avery’s team has no trace of Avery and shows Savannah the NDA they will be asked to sign, noting it excludes her father’s death. He needles her about control and motive, asserting she wants decisions in her own hands.

Savannah counters that Jameson hired Rohan to find Avery by locating Zella and the Watcher. Rohan internally confirms the deal: £10 million if he succeeds, crucial for his bid to become Proprietor of the Devil’s Mercy. He downplays desperation but acknowledges Zella as a rival and the Mercy’s secrecy.

When Savannah asks how Zella can be drawn out, Rohan names “leverage” and declares they will need Gigi’s help to obtain it, positioning an uneasy alliance as their best path to Zella—and to answers about Avery and Savannah’s father.
