Summary
At one in the morning, Jameson and Xander arrive at the Hawthorne flat in London. Exhausted but intent on planning a break-in at the Devil’s Mercy, Jameson hears stealthy footsteps. The brothers kill the lights, brace for an intruder, and engage a skilled opponent in a fast, evenly matched fight.
Working together, Jameson and Xander pin the man. When the lights come on, they discover the intruder is Toby. Toby critiques Jameson’s form and checks his pupils, noting clear sleep deprivation and concern about Jameson’s physical state.
Jameson snaps that Avery is missing, underscoring his refusal to rest. Pressed on why he is there, Toby reveals he was not sent by Alisa. When Jameson demands an answer, Toby states the sender: Hannah.
