After the team gets out of the still-hot truck, Donut presses Carl to finally explain his plan. Carl agrees, but insists on gathering everyone first and speaking carefully so the gods cannot overhear whatever he intends to say.

Bucket Boy, Bigs, and Samantha enter the garage and immediately ask about Dong and Corcunda. Carl begins to apologize, and Donut redirects everyone toward the safe room so they can sit down and discuss what happened, while putting Mongo on guard duty.

Before that larger conversation can begin, Samantha notices Grigori and realizes Carl has been hiding him from her. Their meeting turns chaotic and comic: Grigori grandly introduces himself as a master flesh sculptor, while Samantha immediately tries to recruit him to find her a compatible body. Grigori becomes interested enough to examine Samantha further, and Samantha drags him off toward her place with Jamal invited along.

The mood shifts when Cascadia makes a drunken dungeon announcement. She reveals that heats six and seven will run back-to-back, that the final heat will contain three teams and only the winner survives, and that an Outreach Guild will be available between the last two heats for anyone trying to make a deal. She also mentions that floor eleven will include a floor boss and a total time limit of three hours, then breaks down ranting about Cumberland. After the group reacts to the spectacle, Hedy prepares to reveal the audience-voted truck upgrade.
