Donut explains that the broken-off button still works if the wheel is forced onto the tiny winning sliver, and Mordecai warns everyone that mimics may still be hidden and can impersonate crawlers. As the team watches, Louis calmly accepts that entering the portal may trap him somewhere unreachable, but he decides it is still better than staying behind to die.

When Imani activates the wheel, the hole opens in the floor. Carl promises Louis and the others that he will keep trying to free them no matter where they end up, and Donut gives Louis a worried but affectionate farewell, reminding him that Katia would never forgive them if he died. Near the stairwell, the team encounters the giant Imani shell sitting helplessly in the lobby with Gucci, unable to leave the building. The giant Imani mourns that she stayed out of loyalty while her people kept dying, and Donut gently comforts her by describing a happier life beyond this nightmare. Carl then rockets the truck toward the stairs, and the group finally leaves the cursed level behind.
