Louis tries to assess the situation, but his HUD is malfunctioning: messages still arrive, yet his map and spell menus no longer work correctly. That breakdown emphasizes how far outside normal crawl rules Louis has been pushed.

Louis's newest message comes from Samantha. Samantha says she secretly traveled with Taranis and Krakaren to a temple where they are trying to combine items to restore Taranis's "mom wife," though Samantha believes the effort will fail because a piece is missing. Samantha adds that she has slipped away to pursue her own plan: killing a demon mother and her son, whom she blames for tricking her into giving birth to a monster capable of destroying all creation inside and outside the dungeon.
