Carl drives the truck out of the collapsing doll-filled maze and into a vast chamber suspended over a river of molten metal. To stay on course, Carl activates the spider legs and carefully shifts the truck onto the wall and then the ceiling, where narrow tracks force the racers to move inverted or sideways. Inside the truck, the awkward maneuver makes everyone tumble while Donut, Grigori, and Dong struggle to keep Corky and Porky stable long enough for Grigori to attempt a dangerous fusion spell.

As Carl gets the truck locked onto the ceiling track, he sees the scale of the next obstacle: multiple racers creeping along the walls and ceiling while molten-metal creatures leap up from below. Prepotente and Jurgen are ahead on a wall track, and Carl notices that even with special upgrades, everyone is moving slower than usual. The attackers are identified as regenerating slag elementals that are extremely hard to kill because they revive if they fall back into the molten metal.

While Grigori directs Dong through the first stages of the spell, Carl pushes the truck forward under constant attack. A slag elemental throws molten metal at the vehicle, overloading the heat sink and damaging the hood. Carl uses the truck’s trans-dimensional upgrade to slip underneath a slower racer mounted on a ferret, gaining position despite the nausea and confusion caused by the maneuver.

Behind Carl, Grigori forces the fusion forward, emphasizing that Dong must hold Corky and Porky together no matter what happens. Donut reacts with disgust to the exposed anatomy, but Grigori stays focused on aligning the critical organs and sealing the brain and hearts first, leaving other imperfections for later. Across the room, Carl spots other competitors such as Osvaldo and the Free Love team still navigating the course.

Prepotente sends a message to all racers reporting a useful discovery: adding any non-molten metal to the elementals makes them collapse and fall back into the river until they remelt. As the race warning announces only ten minutes remain, Grigori begins the final part of the spell. Carl notices Dong is pushing himself far into the red to keep the two halves together, repeating that he will not let go.

At the moment the spell completes, Corky and Porky’s separate health bars merge into one and their names combine into a single new identity: Corcunda. The success is immediately overshadowed by a more ominous development when a divine marked-for-death symbol appears above the newly restored mantaur. A system message then announces that Grull has entered the realm, turning the successful fusion into the trigger for a larger and more dangerous threat.
